Do you ever have days where you feel extra confident and have a little extra pep in your step? Well, I felt like that yesterday! My hair was bouncy and my bangs were doing exactly what I wanted them to. Makeup flawless. And my new tummy tuck jeans had me feeling all kinds of sexy!
I ran in Homegoods looking for some dishes. I was slowly browsing when I noticed this really cute guy looking at me. I smiled at him and kept shopping. On the next aisle there he was again, looking at me. I thought, damn these tummy tuck jeans were SO WORTH IT! So I walked passed him. Smiled again. He smiled at me then looked down and pretended he was shopping. This went on aisle after aisle.
Finally when I got to the last aisle, the best aisle of all...the clearance aisle. He walked up to me and said, "Hey, can I ask you a question." I did my sexy smile and responded very gently, "I am married. Sorry." He looked at me with a puzzled look on his face and said, "M'am, I was going to see if you would help me find some towels to match my shower curtain."
WAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Not only was this hot guy NOT checking me out. He called me m'am. Talk about major blow to my big ego.
I felt so dumb about what I said so I helped him for 20 minutes pick out towels, washcloths, and bath mats to go with his new shower curtain.
Anywho, I tried this super cute Lilly Pulitzer dress on yesterday and it's perfect!! I will be adding this to my spring wardrobe!! Do you love??

Bahaha. Aww hell. At least you knew you were lookin' great! And I'm not a huge Lilly fan, but I do love that dress!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Just love it. You're adorable.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I know he picked you out of all the other workers and shoppers because he could tell you have great taste and would not disappoint though!
ReplyDeleteBwhahahahahah. Funny! Some guy was "hitting on me" recently or so I thought. Turns out he walked up to me and asked if I had a Cockatoo parrot. I said no, but I do have 2 parrots....why? Well turns out I had downy feathers (the little fluffy downy fuzzy stuff) all over my shoulder where I had Kelly (my big parrot) perched before I went shopping. Cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress btw!
I bet he was interested and that was his way to try to talk to you! Why else would he pick you instead of trying to get an employee to help?
ReplyDeleteLet's talk some more about these jeans. I am always on the look out for the perfect jeans.
ReplyDeleteOh wow that is a bruise to the ego! But you are so nice to help him out. That dress is gorgeous and will be fabulous this summer. Dear summer, please hurry....
