My birthday is two weeks before Christmas and I have hated having a birthday so close to Christmas for as long as I can remember. Because I get jipped on gifts. I know, I know, that sounds totally selfish and greedy. But when you hear, "this is your birthday AAAND Christmas gift, k?" for 28 years, you get a little sick of it.

You have a sweet husband that says, "instead of buying you clothes that you don't need, or something that will get lost in your jewelry box, I want to buy you something that you and I can have in our home forever."
He got me this beautiful painting that I have had my eye on for months! How gorgeous is this?!! For now, this beauty will reside above my couch! It is one of those pieces that will work anywhere in a home...above a mantle, above your bed, or even in the dining room.
