Yesterday I said goodbye to my beloved red couch. This couch was purchased by my mom and dad in 1984. It used to be white with pink flowers. So popular in the 80's and matched their plush pink carpet beautifully. Classy. My dad recovered it right before he gave it to me and it has lived in six different places with me. I love this couch not only for the sentimental reasons but it is the most comfortable couch EVER. When Brannon and John were moving it out I began to cry. It felt like I was saying goodbye to my childhood, early twenties, and my dad. I know that seems crazy but I have so many fond memories surrounding that couch. That couch was where my grandparents sat and watched us open our Christmas gifts when we were kids. I was happy to give it to my neighbor...he said I can come sit on it any time I start to feel sad. This picture of my sweet boys was taken in 2008. They are so dang cute!
I said buh-bye to my red couch and hello to this green one! This couch was in my dad's old office, then my Gigi's house. My mom has about 19,000 couches in her attic so I took this one off her hands...until Brannon and I can find and afford one we like better!
I desperately need a rug!
The fabric I picked out for new pillows is going to look perfect with the new couch!!!
My mom's friend made this beautiful fall wreath for me!! I am in love with the colors!
And it even has leopard print!! Adore!
We went to the hunt club so Brian could practice shooting with his new shotgun!
Brian reminding Brannon to keep the safety on! Nothing like an 11 year old keeping his dad in check. Ha!
I desperately need a rug!

Oh, girl. You'll have to keep me posted about your rug hunt. I desperately need a few (A LOT!), and for the life of me, I can't settle on any.
