Hips Hips Away

I started working out with a trainer at the end of March and have lost 30 pounds since! I am very proud of the 30 but feel like I could have lost a lot more. The workouts with him are killer...I have never worked out this hard in my life. When I leave the gym it looks like someone has dumped a bucket of water over my head, it's a great feeling!! The reason I have not lost what I "should" have is because of the nutrition. I did really well with it for about 14 weeks. It was a very strict no sodium, no sugar diet. It was a hard adjustment but I did it because I knew I needed to get some weight off. I put on a lot of weight over the last year and was sick of carrying it around.
Well...I've reached my breaking point. I have not done this "diet" in a while and have put on about 8 pounds. I suck. This nutrition plan he had me on is a good one, I know that...but I cannot live the rest of my life eating this way. It's boring and very difficult. So, I decided to join Weight Watchers!!! I am very excited about this new journey and am very impressed with the new Points Plus plan. I am going to take the things I have learned from Gary and use that on my WW journey.
I have done Weight Watchers in the past and been very successful with it!! When I was in high school our WW leader was hilarious and would have us say, "HIPS HIPS AWAY!!!" instead of "hip hip hooray!!"...I hope my new leader is just as fun and motivating!

This weekend was pretty low key! Brannon, B, and I chilled out Friday night and then hit the beach Saturday morning for a fun day in the sun!! We are holding on to the last days of summer for as long as we can...

Riding the waves....

Trying to construct a sand alligator....

Working so hard!

Friday when B walked in our house he was sporting a Pauly D blowout!!! I started dying laughing...it was so cute!! He said, "all the sixth graders at my school wear their hair like this." I didn't know we had Guidos in Charleston...kewl!

And you go girl on losing that weight!! That's awesome you lost the amount you've lost already, I'm sure it can get boring after a while. You'll do great with W.W. I was on W.W the beginning of the year and lost 15 lbs (baby fat). I need to get back into it, I've been slacking a bunch lately ha. Good luck pretty lady!!!
