Dress Crush Plus OC Housewives Update

I found this dress by T-Bags (awful name, I know) and I am in love. It's $195, is that too much? YES!!!! I think so!
I am waiting for it to get marked down. Fingers crossed they will have my size. I purchased this shirt a few weeks ago from Macy*s. It it so fun, I cannot wait to wear it!

REALHOUSEWIVES OF OC UPDATE!!!! Simon accused Tamra of cheating on him and if you watch, "Watch What Happens," she told Andy ( i want to be his bff) Cohen that the allegations were FALSE. Of course she's going to say that. Well....the truth comes out! Tamra has been gettin' frisky with Simon's best friend, Eddie Judge. She may have waited until Simon slapped those divorce papers on her, but my guess is, they were hookin' up before then. Let's hope this guy is less controlling than Simon "DB" Barney.

After Tamra confirmed it, she released this statement.

"We are romantically involved, he is a great guy. It was bound to happen that we both would start dating again after he filed for divorce. It was going to happen sooner or later. I don't know what the future holds with Eddie and only time will tell."

Weekend Wrap Up

I hope all of you ladies had a fabulous weekend! Mine was wonderful but went by WAY WAY too fast.
Friday night Brannon and I decided to stay home. With me going to class after work during the week, I'm not getting home until 8 or later so I have not been cooking. So, Friday I wanted to cook Brannon his favorite dinner. Country style steak and gravy, rice, mac-n-cheese, and green beans. It was SOOO YUMMY!
And I wonder why I'm overweight....hmmmm? Saturday I caught up on all of my housework...cleaning, laundry, etc...pretty boring day. Until 7 o'clock. That's when the party got started baby!
My bestie Heather was in town for a bachelorette party so they invited me to come join in the festivities.
You know I had to take a pic of my make-up...in the car. Notice the seat belt..ha! I thought I had found the "perfect" nude lip gloss, but my lips still looked pink...dang it!

The bride requested that we wear black so she could stand out in her pink. She looked so dang cute, I wish I had a picture of her outfit. She had on a pink and black zebra dress with a bow on the front (my fave) paired with black leggings.
So, since I was wearing black, I decided to carry my clutch from A03 Designs. I got so many compliments on it and I adore it. Only problem, it's hard to get in and out of. Every 10 seconds I was re-doing the bow.

The bride could not be any more sweet, she and I met in 2005 when we were in Heather's wedding together. Wait, it might have been 2006. Anyway, I was almost blinded when I saw Jennifers engagement ring, it was GORGEOUS!

After we hung out and did a lingerie shower at the hotel (and ate lots of yummy food) we headed out to party it up at TRIO.

Sarah gave us name tags...Heather was MILF (she's a new mom!) and I was B-Pow, of course!

Fave Things Friday

I picked up a bottle of Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus at TJ Maxx for $9.99 a few weeks ago and I am so glad that I did. My hair is so full and bouncy, I just love it. I have used it a few times in the past and never been that impressed with it but this time around, it is really doing the job. It gives me more volume than any other mousse I have tried thus far. Not only does it give me big sexy hair, it makes my hair easier to style. I have been trying to acheive the Kim Kardashian nude lip for months, my lips are naturally really pink so it's hard for me to find a nude lip color that covers up all the color in my lips. My friend at the MAC counter suggested I try the lipglass in C Thru. When she tried it on me, I looked in the mirror and had to take a double take because I thought Kim K was looking back at me. Ha! It's beautiful, and I feel like it makes my lips look a little fuller too. I wanted to share this picture of my husband and I from Saturday night. This was taken a Greg's Cabana Bar in Garden City. Talk about a hole in the wall. I felt like Angelina and Brad walking into this place. Ha! We felt really out of place, so Brannon decided he would sing karaoke. He looked at me and said, "i'm about to bring this house down, haha!" He's crazy. He sang a few country songs, he has an amazing voice and I hate him for that because I am terrible. I wish I could sing SO bad!!
After he sang his 3rd song he came over and asked me to sing "Picture" (you know the Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow song) with him and I laughed in his face. This woman over heard our conversation and offered to sing with him. She was about 5 feet tall, 300 pounds, teased up blonde hair. You get the picture. They got up there and sang their hearts out. It was great!!! Watching her was what gave me the biggest laugh. She was singing with her eyes closed, swaying her hips, and touching his arm. I have the video, I will upload it so all of you can get a good laugh out of it like I did.

This is what I did last night after class. Bo and I watched Project Runway! Did any of you watch it? I loved the dress that won! It was gorgeous!

BEFORE and AFTER

When I was watching the Grammy's Sunday night, I could not get over how stunning Fergie looked! Her skin was glowing. In my opinion, she looked the best she has EVER has.
So, it got me thinking. Fergie Ferg has totally transformed over the past few years.
She went from this.... an over the top made up face, eyebrow ring wearing, borderline white trash kind of girl..... To this....

She looks so beautiful! I love her hair this color. And her make-up....flawless!

It's amazing what Hollywood, lots of $$$$, and a good stylist can do for you.

I wonder what I would look like with a Hollywood makeover? Would I finally be skinny? Would I have long hair? Would my make-up look like Kim Kardashian?

Lilly P Purchase and a Louis V Confession

Saturday while it Myrtle Beach, it was 30 degrees and raining. I needed something to brighten up the day, so I went to my favorite Lilly Pulitzer store. And I purchased this adorable bracelet! This picture really does not do it justice, it's so much cuter in person. You can purchase it here.
And now to my confession.
My LV luggage is as FAKE as my hair color. I didn't think my knock off luggage would cause such a buzz and that so many of you girls would think it was real. I got so many emails about it that I had to set my email to private.
Does it look that real?
I paid under $100 for all three pieces. All were purchased in China Town on shopping trips to NYC. The duffel bag was purchased in 2004 for $25 and the totes were purchased in 2008 for $50.


P.S. My latest celebrity crush is Joe Jonas. I could not take my eyes off of him at the Grammy's. Do you think he likes older (chubby) women?

Weekend Wrap Up

We got back late yesterday afternoon from a great weekend in Myrtle Beach with friends!! We went to celebrate my friend Jennifer's 27th birthday! Lots of fun and laughs were had. I was a good girl and took a few pictures....
How much luggage do you need for a 2 and a half day trip?!? I took this picture before we left to show y'all my teeth. The braces are off and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. If you are in the Charleston area and need an orthodontist, Dr. Swasty is the gal to go to.

The AMAZING cake from Ashley Bakery. Hayden from AB designed my wedding cake (she didn't make it for me b/c I got married about 120 miles away), did my groom's cake, and made the delicious cup cakes that we served at our rehearsal dinner. She is so talented. When I thought about getting a cake for Jenn, there was no question about where I would go to get it. Jenn loves animal print and bright colors...I called Hayden and told her that and this is what she came up with.....

A Birthday Wish and Toddlers and Tiaras

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful sister Kristin!!!! I hope today is as fabulous as you are!!! I LOVE YOU!!! (Kristin is pictured on the right) And now to Toddlers and Tiaras. Last night was the first night that I watched this show. I was trying to avoid these little spray tanned, big hair'd, make-up clad little girls...but I got sucked in. It was actually very comical. Watching the moms dancing and doing the routines in the audience to encourage the little girls on stage was priceless. Most of the moms are overweight which just makes it that much more hilarious.
But what tickled me the most about this show were the little girls names. Last night they were competing at the "Southern Majestic Princess" competition, and here are a few of the girls names:

Ariel
Braylee
But the little girl that won, I think it was "Most Beautiful" had a very classy name that took me by surprise. When the announcer introduced a Blair, I almost choked on my popcorn (100 calorie bag, thank you!). I never expected a Blair to be amongst the Ariel's and Kayleigh's of this competition. Of course Blair was the most beautiful in the competition, with a name like that...would you expect anything less?
